Too cool for school on #MainStreetBuffalo

Dear Friends,
Sorry for neglecting you, there are many reasons for my absence, school being the number one, but I would like to tell you what else I’ve been doing.
I am starting to hone my photography skills. In the age of camera phones, instagram, and other immediate camera options, I am trying to get into fine art photography, street photography, portrait photography, etc. I even purchased a film camera to force myself to use a camera manually - NO AUTOMATIC.
Buffalo has been my studio for the past couple of months. I know I have always taken pictures of Buffalo to share with you all, but now I am trying to take photographs with purpose. I will begin to post some of the photographs I have taken when I started a project called Portraits of Buffalo. Does this mean that I will not be posting pictures of food, events, etc. Not exactly, but I will be doing significantly less :-(
Please feel free to provide feedback on the new direction of this blog. Hope you all like it.
