Before coming to Buffalo, I spent 5 months in the Middle East, specifically Jordan, studying Arabic. As a result, I fell in love with the food and various aspects of the culture. I was very surprised to find that their are many Middle Eastern markets, shops, restaurants, and mosque throughout Buffalo. Recently discovered this place on a trip to Hertel Ave.

A New Yorker (that's me) born and raised in the NorthEast Bronx -- now I find myself living in Buffalo to complete my masters in Urban Planning.
